Images again!
After I shared a free collection of notation images a couple of months ago, a music teacher at a P-9 school here in Melbourne – suggested that I create a collection of guitar chord diagrams. He spends quite a bit of time creating lead sheets and presentation-style documents that feature guitar chord diagrams alongside lyrics. He also suggested I include ukulele chord diagrams as well, but I'll have to save that for next time!
About the chord diagrams…
In the end, I decided to include chords I, ii, IV, V and vi in a range of keys. The keys represented are: C, D, E, F, G, A, B, B flat, E flat and A flat.
Of course there are multiple ways to play each of the chords and just one option has been shared here. I have included a blank fretboard image though so you can create your own diagrams, or you can distribute it to students so they can write out their own chord diagrams (a good learning/reinforcement experience in itself!).
Also included in the collection are two generic power chord diagrams – one on the E string and one on the A string. You can let students know which fret they should use for the power chord shape.
Each chord diagram has a transparent background so you can use it on coloured documents and presentations.
A few examples of use
7 Ways to use your guitar chord diagrams
1. To create leadsheets using Word or Pages
2. To create a guitar chord quiz
3. To create posters for your music classroom
4. In your interactive whiteboard software
5. To make a "play-along" Powerpoint or Keynote presentations (each chord of a song on a separate slide)
6. To make guitar chord flashcards
7. To use in screencasting/whiteboard apps on the iPad

Do you have G/B and D/F# as well? I've noticed they're used quite often and was wondering if you could post them if you have them.
